TEXAS TURKEY CHILI
People tend to have very strong opinions about chili. I get it, I’m from Texas.
Now, this Texas Turkey Chili does have beans in it (a Texas faux pas), but it also has a bit of sugar, so hopefully no one shows up at my door with pitchforks. The secret to our success is in large part to the Morton’s Chili Blend. If you’re in Texas you can find it at United Grocery stores (I have my mom mail it to me). If you’re not, I found some online. Trust me it’s worth it!
This simple chili is hearty and seasoned with just enough spice. You can use ground beef OR turkey, and honestly, we usually prefer the ground turkey. Que the pitchforks.
Y’all let me know what you think!
