This site is sandymargritz.com, run by me, Sandy Margritz. This policy explains what information I collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What I collect:

If you subscribe to my newsletter: your email address, and your first name if you give it. I use this only to send you the newsletter.

If you contact me through the site: whatever you put in the form, usually your name, email, and message.

Automatically, when anyone visits: standard analytics data including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent, and where you came from. This is aggregate traffic information, not anything I use to identify you personally.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help me understand how people use the site through analytics. If I link to a product through an affiliate program, that link may set a cookie so the retailer knows the visit came from here.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Services I use

This site is hosted on Squarespace, which collects its own analytics data. I use Squarespace to send the newsletter, Google Analytics to understand traffic, and affiliate networks that track referrals from my links. Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what they do with data.

Posts may also include embedded content from other sites, such as videos or Pinterest pins. Embedded content behaves as though you visited that site directly, and those sites may collect data about you.

Some posts contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no additional cost to you. See my full Disclosure page for details.

How long I keep things

I keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. I keep messages sent through the contact form as long as I need them to respond to you. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the services above.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from my list immediately. You can also email me at info@untitledmarketingco.com to ask what information I have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and I will do that.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes I will update it here and revise the date at the top.
