Semi-Homemade Baked Beans

Description

The best baked beans, perfect for summer bbq’s!


Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Busch’s Country Style Baked Beans
  • 23 Pieces of Cooked Bacon
  • 2 TBS Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 TBS Yellow Mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F.
  • Cook your bacon until well done (we normally make bacon with breakfast and make a few extra pieces).
  • Add both cans of baked beans to a baking dish. (Remove the bacon that comes in the can.)
  • Crumble bacon and add to the baking dish along with the brown sugar and yellow mustard. 
  • Stir well until combined and bake for 2-2.5 hours. 

Notes

*If you really want to make these like my mom, cook some chopped onion in the bacon grease until tender then add the bacon grease and onions to the beans as well.
