Mountain Peach Cobbler

Description

The photo does not do this cobbler justice. It’s “phenomenal” in the words of my husband. This is also the perfect cobbler for people that don’t really like to bake, but want to bake – if you know what I mean.


Ingredients

Cobbler

  • 3 Cups Fresh Sliced Peaches
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Topping

  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degres F
  • Melt butter in a 9 X 13 Pan.
  • Mix 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp salt and 3 tsp baking powder in large bowl. 
  • Add 1 cup milk & 1 tsp vanilla and stir until well combined. (Will be runnier than you expect.)
  • Pour over melted butter in pan. 
  • Add sliced peaches on top of flour mixture.
  • Then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 minutes.
  • Serve warm with ice cream.

  • Cook Time: 55 minutes
