Bagel Dogs (Boopalaches)

When we lived in Forth Worth, we lived right down the street from Boopa’s Bagels. Which is where we were introduced to boopalaches – it’s like a kolache but with bagel dough and y’all. They’re so good.

We had been missing our boopalaches recently, so we used Skinnytaste’s Easy Bagel Recipe to make our own. Could not be more pleased with the results. I thought that making bagels would be so difficult, but her recipe only takes 5 ingredients!

Skinnytaste gives instructions for either the oven or air fryer. I tried both and ended up liking the oven option better, but they taste the same either way! (Left bagel dog is from the oven, right is from the air fryer.)

Y’all let me know what you think!
