When it comes to guacamole, I say the simpler the better. This is so fresh and easy to make, and of course, customizable to your taste. Believe it or not, you can make this ahead of time!
You can make this a few hours ahead of serving if you save 1-2 of the avocado pits, add them to the guacamole, then cover with Saran Wrap as tight as possible – press into the guacamole and try to get out all air bubbles (1st & 2nd photos). Refrigerate until ready to serve and it will not turn brown! 3rd photo is after 4 hours in the refrigerator.
We’ve actually done this before and had the guacamole for a couple of days, although I do still recommend serving it the same day.
If you like spice, add a diced fresh jalapeño. Sometimes we’ll add a diced Roma tomato, a little cilantro, or pico de Gallo if we have it. There’s instructions below for a crowd or just for a couple. Customize it however you like, but trust me, it’s great as is! Y’all let me know what you think!
